Holidays are over and by SHnordic is back to normal. The summer holiday was fun but it’s equally great to be back home and to everyday life. I have listed our my favourite interior and decor shops before, this time I’m sharing my favourite Scandi shops with you.

Bolia

Danish Bolia is one of my newer homeware loves – We were on a weekend trip in Stockholm a couple of years ago and I just happened to walk into one of their stores. Back then they had no stores in the UK and their online shop wasn’t delivering here either. Luckily for us that has changed! There is a store selling Bolia goodies in London and the Bolia.com online shop delivers to the UK too.

Hay

Hay has a lovely collection of contemporary furniture and accessories. Simple and beautiful.

Marimekko

Finnish Marimekko might be best known for their bold, colourful prints, but they have lots of other beautiful pieces too. I love the ‘sukat makkaralla’ glasses, pitcher and the ‘Urna’ vase. These are going to my wish list as soon as my children stop breaking stuff all the time.

Ferm living

Modern design with a touch of mid-century charm. Ferm interior has beautiful interior products with a graphic touch. That flower box is on my shopping list!

Menu Design shop

Menu is a Danish design company founded in 1976. They create clever solutions and beautiful objects for everyday use, whether that’s an indispensable item of kitchen equipment, a clever floating shelf or a beautiful vase that adds the finishing touch. My favourite salt&pepper set are from Menu.

Bo Concept

Bo Concept has an amazing selection of modern, minimalistic furniture. Scandi design at its best.

Iittala

I saved the best for the last… Iittala has a very special place in my design heart. My favourite glassware and ceramics are all by Iittala. Clean lines and minimalistic design, their Scandinavian design icons are made in glass, ceramics and stainless steel.
