Spring decor updates for your home

Refresh your decor for spring. After finishing a good old spring clean, I like to update my space with a few things that evoke the sense of spring. Natural textiles and soft pastel tones not only mirror some of this year’s key paint colour trends but also spring itself. The Easter hols aren’t far away, so it’s a great time to grab a moment to change up your home.

Here are some of my fav’ spring decor items right now:

Jute-blend rug:

I’m loving the warm neutral tones, jacquard pattern and fringed sides of this jute rug. I’m a sucker for pretty rugs and H&M Home is currently offering some absolute must-have styles at the moment.

Art print:

This cute art print is a total bargain. I love the colours and I’m a big fan of vases so this is spot on!

Linen-blend tablecloth:

How dreamy is this pistachio shade of green? I love linen, the fact you can
effortlessly throw it on the table and not worry about ironing it. Add a vase of sweet smelling spring blooms for a lovely setting. The perfect spring decor addition.

Stoneware serving bowl:

I seem to collect stoneware for a living, filling the shelves and cupboards.
This neutral-coloured bowl has a variegated and glazed appearance and is a
welcome addition.

Storage basket:

Storage baskets are a busy home’s friend. Whether it is messy cables,
mounting toys or toilet paper you are trying to hide – a stylish storage system makes it all look better! Try this lovely basket, in this year’s colour comeback queen, green.

Marble bowl

What a lovely marble bowl, perfect for displaying pretty things or as a fruit bowl.

Rattan basket:

Rattan is everywhere right now – it is a huge interior trend. Natural materials and a 70s aesthetic makes this a must-have basket. Fill with blankets and magazines next to the sofa, or use as a plant pot cover.

Textured Cushion:

Quilted and embroidered textiles are popping up everywhere in interiors and fashion at the moment. This textured off-white cushion cover would make a beautiful spring decor addition to the bedroom.

Tasselled blanket:

Perfect way to add texture and warmth to your home.

Fresh bedding:

The best way to freshen up your bedroom with some new bedding

Rattan Chair:

Continuing with my rattan obsession, I adore this chair. Mix with neutral or
sunny shaded textiles like cushions and blankets. I could think of so many
rooms this would work in – living room, bedroom or even bathroom.

Floor Lamp:

Sleek and minimalist with glamorous brass detailing. A lovely addition to any room to create soft lighting.
